Moving to a new area is far more than just finding a new home. So at Cambridge Property Search we can offer you a range of additional services to help make your move to Cambridge as smooth a transition as possible.

1. Hotel Accomodation

We can book your hotel accommodation for you when you come to Cambridge either to attend job interviews, view properties or schools or for your familiarisation tour. We will also either collect you from a local airport/railway station or arrange a hire car/taxi for you

2. Familiarisation Tour

We will arrange a half or full day familiarisation tour for you alone or for your whole family. This will comprise a tour of the city showing you possible areas to live as well as the location of schools, sixth form colleges, hospitals, train stations, churches and recreational facilities. By the end of the tour you will have a much better understanding of the place you hope to move to.

3. Interpreters

We can organise interpreters when necessary for you. We already have close links with French, Italian and Portugese speakers but have access to a range of other linguists.

4. Education

We can help you with your choice of independent or state schools in the area, from pre-school to sixth form colleges. We can also arrange appointments with head teachers for you as well as give you information on the availability of school places in your chosen schools.

5. The Day of Your Move

The day of your move can be the most traumatic of all. We can assist you with this in many practical ways. We will arrange temporary day care for your children and pets. Our service is bespoke so we can discuss your needs and help you in any way we can.

6. Craftsmen

We can also offer you introductions to a range of craftsmen and trades-people before and after you move into your home eg. landscape gardeners, interior designers, decorators, cleaning companies or give you help and advice with listed buildings and planning applications.
